Kamen Estate Wines is looking to add another dynamic member to our Hospitality Team! We are looking for an enthusiastic Tasting Room Associate with a love for hospitality and customer service that is available 15-20 hours a week, weekends required and on call for events and fill in shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate must be friendly, outgoing and self motivated, comfortable multi-tasking, Prior hospitality service experience is required, and tasting room experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable standing for up to 8 hours in a fast paced environment and must be able to lift 50 pounds and have a valid drivers license.
Basic wine knowledge is preferred and must be 21 or older.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide top tier customer service to all guests and customers with enthusiasm and poise, both in the downtown tasting room and our Estate. Able to complete transactions quickly and professionally and maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and sanitization of the Tasting Room and Estate at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Passion for wine and people.
Basic computer skills and literacy.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and coworkers, both front facing and via phone/email.
Self-starter with a positive attitude that works well in a team driven environment.
Attention to detail and tidiness, and the ability to multitask.
Commitment to customer service and hospitality, resulting in sales and future memberships and relationships!
1-3 years experience in a retail, food, beverage, and/or hospitality industry is preferred.
Must be comfortable standing for up to 8 hours, and able to host tastings on our Estate. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Holders of Responsible Beverage Service License, Food Handler’s Certificate a PLUS!
Salary:
We offer a competitive hourly wage ($20-$25 depending on experience) as well as Wine Club commissions, and gratuity!
