Job Description:
WineBusiness, the leading provider of information and events to the wine industry, has an immediate opening for a Sales Account Manager. Role comprises both Sales and Account Management responsibilities. Duties will be focused sales of all North American wine industry reports and database services offered through both WineBusiness Analytics (www.winebusinessanalytics.com) and Gomberg Fredrikson & Associates (www.gfawine.com).
The successful candidate should have 3-5 years’ demonstrated success in B2B sales. Performance results are based on both new client subscriptions and database licensing sales, along with ongoing client renewals and retention. Key client segments include Wineries, Growers, Distributors, Importers, Industry Product and Services Vendors, Universities, Non-Profits, and Associations. Wine industry and/or B2B database or subscription services sales will be considered a plus.
Full time position, with company employee benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401(k). This will be a hybrid position, office located in Sonoma, CA.
Specific duties:
• Secure new business in order to achieve sales targets
• Retain and grow existing customers
• Maintain content in CRM system
• Coordinate with Marketing Manager for various email and social media campaigns
• Attend various industry events
• Attain solid understanding of all products
Salary range: $65,000 base + generous commission
