Cellar Assistant (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Job Summary: Reporting to the Production Manager / Cellar Master, the Cellar Assistant will tend to the day-to-day operations of the Cellar while ensuring a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum of 1 year of winery production experience
-Harvest experience
-Flexible schedule that allows to work various shifts and overtime as needed
-Basic math skills
-Ability to enter tight spaces to perform tasks
-Ability to lift 55 lbs.
-Forklift experience
-Spanish speaking a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Cellar tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and sanitizing cellar fittings, hoses, tanks, barrels, and wine processing equipment
-Additions to wine and juice
-Wine Movement: Racking, blending, barrel filling, etc.
-Direct job responsibilities to interns during harvest
-Prepare and deliver cases for export and domestic shipments
-Vineyard tours for VIP Guests when needed
-Help set-up for events
- Warehouse and Inventory management
