Oversees overall general operations and merchandising execution for the Wine Shop.
Focus on customer experience, brand, and loyalty awareness by building strong customer relationships.
Innovates new ideas and events for driving traffic and guest experiences.
Works with the restaurant management team in creating new mixology innovations and wine/food experiences.
Able to consistently build upon what we currently have in place for tours, tastings, and events, always looking for ways to innovate and hear what customers are looking for.
Regularly communicates and is aware of our strengths, opportunities, and trends in business.
Training and implementation through team coaching.
Coaches team providing consistent and constructive feedback
Staff and schedule to meet our needs, including interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
Prioritizes, plans, and adjust schedules as necessary to maximize sales.
Strong vendor negotiating skills.
Manage and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all IT and POS systems such as Tock and SevenShifts and audio/video systems.
Monitor and supports any IT issues, ensures resolution plans, report progress to management and ensure that excellent customer service was provided during each event support.
Ensure company standards are always met with store and associate appearance.
Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications:
21 years of age or older.
5+ years’ retail, bar, or hospitality management experience.
Experience in creating drink menus, tasting experiences, and special events.
Experience developing team member performance and coaching.
Experience working in Tock and 7Shifts.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires.
Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both employees and customers.
Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude.
Strong organizational and planning skills with a solution orientated mindset.
Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
High-level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well-developed analytical and influencing skills.
Strong computer skills.
Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish/Italian).
