Hanna Winery & Vineyards Hospitality Associate

HANNA is a family-owned winery with tasting rooms in Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley. We have vineyards in Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek, and Moon Mountain District AVAs. We strive to educate consumers on HANNA’s unique vineyard practices, hands-on winemaking style, and diverse wine selections, including the scarce Saint Macaire. We are seeking a part-time (non-exempt) Hospitality Associate who can potentially grow into a full-time employee.
Our ideal team member will be engaging and captivating, able to provide elevated guest experiences, drive sales, uphold an environment of care and compassion, and provide exceptional hospitality through understanding the needs of our guests. The same level of hospitality is expected across customer relations via telephone and/or email. Working in a team environment, while able to think independently and perform in a busy environment is essential.
The position will be asked to perform administrative duties that require fluency in various software programs, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook Mailbox, Wine Direct, and TOCK. This position will assist with inventory management to ensure HANNA’s tasting rooms are stocked with current vintages, merchandise, and special wines as needed. Experience with inventory tracking and shipping responsibilities is highly favorable. This position will assist with special projects related to wine club processing.
HANNA is open seven days a week, weekends, events, and some holiday work will be required. This position would work out of both tasting room facilities. Finally, as you would expect, you must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 40 lbs. This Hospitality Associate reports to the Tasting Room Manager.
Starting wage: Earning potential including commissions and gratuities of $22-28/hr with a base of $18-$20/hr depending on experience.
