Director of Manufacturing (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Job Description:

Korbel Champagne Cellars, located in the picturesque Russian River Valley, has been a long-standing California Champagne establishment in Sonoma County since 1882. With thousands of tourists visiting every year, our winery is nothing short of a beautiful and informative winetasting and culinary experience for every customer who walks on our property.

Our winery is seeking a resourceful, enthusiastic Director of Manufacturing to contribute to our team at our beautiful Guerneville location. The primary focus of this role will manage Korbel’s manufacturing operations, including Korbel’s Production, Maintenance Operations, Engineering and Quality Assurance departments. This position is responsible for maintaining a team atmosphere focused on the efficient and timely production of quality Korbel products in a safe manner. The Director of Manufacturing is responsible for preparing and implementing capital projects within these areas. This position will work closely with the Executive team and has the potential to grow into a Senior Management role.

We are considering candidates with a bachelor’s degree in management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Food Science, Enology, or a four-year technical degree in a related discipline. Candidates must have 10 plus years’ experience in a manufacturing management environment, preferably in a process orientated operation in the food or beverage operation. Additionally, ideal candidate must have 10 plus years’ experience managing multiple departments with direct and indirect reports.

The pay scale for this position is $150,000-$210,000 depending upon experience. Please inquire to learn more, as we’d be happy to discuss the details of this position with the right candidate.
